Terms and Conditions

Welcome to GroundK.
GroundK provides the services subject to the following conditions.

Payment

After your journey has been completed we will process a charge of the total value of the booking, including any amendments.


1) Banking Transfer

2) Credit Card
• GroundK accepts most credit cards as a means of payment.

- CVV/CVC No.
The CVV/CVC is the last 3 (sometimes 4 for AMEX) digits printed on the signature panel on the back of your credit card.

Quotations, rates and charges

All prices are in KRW and are exclusive of VAT. All quotations are estimated journey charges, are valid for 30 days and do not include waiting time, parking, tolls or telephone charges. You are not required to tip your driver although any tip is greatly appreciated by them. Gratuities are at the Customer’s discretion.

Final journey charges will be calculated according to the actual route taken by the chauffeur and any other relevant factors, e.g. waiting time (at the agreed tariff). The chauffeur will take the most optimal route, unless the client gives specific instructions or prevailing traffic conditions dictate.


Cancellation

Charges apply for Customer no shows and cancellation at the tariff rate based on the service booked. Our standard cancellation notice periods for main cities, unless the vehicle has already been dispatched, are:
- Executive Sedan and MPVs in the KOREA: 24 hours
- Luxury Sedan and MPVs in the KOREA: 4 8hours
- Coaches, minibuses and all other vehicles in the KOREA: 48 hours
- All vehicles in rest of the World: 48 hours


No Show

1) For Airport Arrival Pick up
• When the expected customer does not show up nor calls our customer service center or the chauffeur within the free waiting time (60 minutes for international flights and 40 minutes for domestic flights), we will consider such case as NO SHOW and will charge 100% of the service fare.
• Customers must inform our customer service center or the chauffeur when their arrival time has changed and are traveling on a flight schedule different from the one provided at the time of reservation. Please be informed that we shall not be obliged to refund any fee for unfulfilled service(s) due to such negligence on the part of the customers.

2) For point pick up
• Please be informed that the free waiting time for point pick-up is 20 minutes. When the expected customer does not show up nor calls our customer service center or the chauffeur within the free waiting time, we consider such case as NO SHOW and will not refund any fee paid.

※ Please be informed that we shall not be obliged to refund any fee to the (passenger) traveler for making a sudden cancellation because of simple ‘change of heart’ or without informing the customer service center about the specific complaint. Please be informed that we do not take any responsibility for any problems arising from such cancellation.


Surcharges will apply on Bank Holidays as follows:

Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day, New Year's Eve from 18:00 and New Year's Day: 100%


Etc:

On-site co-ordinators are available on request, and are charged on an hourly basis with a 2 hour minimum charge. In the event that the interior of the vehicle is soiled or damaged by the Customer, a valeting charge will apply. GroundK reserves the right to review the charges to take account of movements in the Retail Price Index, currency fluctuations, fuel, legislative changes or any other charges outside of our control.


Privacy Policy

Personal information you have provided to GroundK while using this web site are subject to our privacy policy. GroundK respects your privacy rights and observes the following practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of the information of the users of this web site. GroundK may be required to ask you certain information in order to provide you with our services or assistance. Common items may include, but are not limited to, the name, address, phone number, and credit card information of the booker and / or the passenger(s). By providing this information to GroundK, you agree to GroundK using them to fulfill all services you have requested. The height of the passenger(s) you have entered when using this web site may be used for ensuring the quality of our service, providing education to our staff or other purposes. We may provide or allow access to your personal information to third-party service providers or organizations that help us provide you with the products, services, or information you request. Since GroundK operates globally, your personal information may to transfer to a country other than its country of origin.


Application of Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Republic of Korea and the regulations of GroundK, and the customers of GroundK are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South Korean court. All reservations are considered as confirmation of the customer’s acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, which override any contrary terms or conditions presented by the customer. Modifications to these Terms and Conditions must be agreed in writing by both parties.

GroundK respects your privacy rights and observes the following practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of the information of the users of this web site. GroundK may be required to ask you certain information in order to provide you with our services or assistance.
